We Love kids! We are the Children's Ministry Team and we love kids.  Our mission as a team is to provide the best possible environment and opportunities for children to grow closer to Jesus Christ. We love that St. Edward's is so kid friendly.  The floor inside the church is carpeted and children frequently wander around during the service.  Children are welcome in the service or they can go to the Nursery and Sunday School

We operate a nursery before and during our 8:00 & 10:00 am service. Our Nursery is staffed by a professional Nanny.  Sunday School is eld during the first half of our 10:00 am service. 

When children have outgrown our Nursery they move on to our Godly Play Classes.  Godly Play is a Montessori style Sunday School that engages children's wonder and curiosity around the great stories of the Bible.  Since beginning Godly Play in September of 2004 our class has doubled in size.  Kids love it.

Our grade 5 and 6 children attend a class run by Tom Erbes.  Tom's Class does more "hands on the Bible" work.  Here children learn more about the Bible itself-- how to study it and how to apply its lessons to their lives.   Tom also uses games to help illustrate key Biblical concepts. 

We also have a children's choir that sings during our 10 am service about once every few months.  They are adorable.
