The Rev. Tom Sramek, Jr. , is our Priest-in-Charge. Fr. Tom grew up on the San Francisco Peninsula at Christ Church, Los Altos. After graduating from Humboldt State University with a degree in Psychology and Computer Information Systems, Fr. Tom attended Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) in Alexandria, Virginia. Following ordination he served as Curate in West Chester, Pennsylvania before returning to the Peninsula as Associate at St. Paul's, Burlingame and then Interim Vicar at St. Christopher's, San Lorenzo. Prior to arriving at St. Edward's, Fr. Tom spent seven and a half years as Vicar of St. Alban's in Albany, Oregon.
To assist Fr. Tom, St. Edward's continues to have strong lay led ministry teams and a highly enthusiastic and hands-on Vestry. For example, if St. Edward's has an effective outreach ministry, it is because our outreach team has led us effectively. If our Sunday School is fantastic it is because our Children's Ministry Team is excellent. Our ministry teams rely on the leadership of our team leaders. Some of our ministry teams have a staff member in addition to a ministry team leader.

Dianne Growitz is our Administrative Assistant and Receptionist. Diane joined our staff in 2007. Dianne's responsibilities are many and varied, and include bulletin preparation, facility bookings, general reception, and some bookkeeping support. Dianne's usual office hours are 9 am to Noon, Tuesday through Friday.

Karin Bray is our Preschool Director. Karin has been our Director since we started our preschool in 2003. Karin, with Fr. Tom and our senior warden, Ken Haughton, manage the Preschool. Karin oversees a staff of preschool teachers and aides.
We enjoy haivng a good staff that works closely with our Vestry and our ministry team leaders. Small groups are the heartbeat of St. Edward's, and their leaders are vital to our life together. Increasingly we understand ourselves to be an "Ephesians 4:11" congregation. In other words, the role of our clergy and staff is to equip our laity for the work of Ministry.
