Our group meets Monday nights at 7 p.m. - usually at a location not far from San Jose Valley Med.  We start off with an opening prayer; have a bible study; then each member checks in with highs and lows; adherence to their commitment to bible reading, prayer, etc. and prayer requests.  We then close with prayer and share a snack and some social time.  We usually adopt a family for Christmas and try and do at least one activity or charitable donation as a group every year. 

Right now we are reading sermons from Barbara Brown Taylor's Bread of Life.  Next we will be doing a study of 1Peter called "Walk the Talk".  Our Monday night participants must be accepting of small children as a potential distraction / entertainment offering.  The contact is Pat Morse at 408-629-1408 or p.mousebrown at gmail.com

Our group has been growing steadily since we started a little over a year ago.  We are looking forward to multiplying into two new small groups.
