The live video stream from St. Edward's will be DVD quality. The picture size will be 640 x 480 and will look very nice on a large screen TV or projected onto a big screen. This is many times larger than the typical video watched on the internet. Because of this we strongly encourage you to test the download speed of your internet connection before registering and paying the $25 registration fee. We have already heard from one church that discovered that their DSL download speed was only 450kbps. We strongly recomend a download speed of at least 1,250kbps. If you have less than this the video could become annoyingly jerky. You can test your internet connection here. This only takes a couple of minutes. It would be a very good idea to run this test in the location where you will be showing it.
We will be streaming almost the entire conference as described on the conference schedule. On Saturday there are two time slots with a choice of six workshops. We will be streaming one of these workshops. We are working on a secondary method of providing the rest of the workshops but cannot offer any guarantees at this time.
Now that you are confident that you have the bandwidth to view the stream and what we will be streaming please fill in the form below. After you complete and submit it you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription, Please do so. You will then receive a second email within 24 hours with further information and some links to help you display the stream on your TV or projector. This email will also have a link to a PayPal form where you can pay the $25 registration fee. You can pay this with a PayPal account or with a credit card. Thank you.
Just for fun here is a map of currently registered sites. After you register we'll add you to the map. Who knows maybe someone will see this and come visit you.
